ECONP_006. Fair Share of Tax
Taxes form a part of redistribution of value across an economy. Today, there are very complex tax systems with loopholes. There are also ways to avoid paying taxes such as tax havens.
The enterprises also use public infrastructure services where they are located and some of the due to the 'throw away model' for product and may not pay their fair share of taxes to cover these costs.
In addition, due to national tax boundaries and differences Global Enterprises can play one country against another.
The result of this is problem is that individuals and enterprises are not paying their fair share of tax. This lack of taxes may restrict the services needed to support households or restore / regenerate the ecosystems.
